Hi! Welcome to my first Visual Novel @w@

Sunshowered Orchards is the love story of Ross and Vega, who live in a medieval era when homophobia is rife and the norm, and where they must often choose between their love, to meet their society's expectations of them, or to suffer dire consequences should their forbidden love be brought to light.

This is the first ever written work by its horrid author, Strom, who had the bright idea to use the VN format to practice writing, mostly because I had no one to read what yucky things I write in the rare times I do upload to the internet. This project is mostly made to practice writing, and how to write a visual novel as well. Although this project is written by a mega noob, I intend to do the best I can for it to stand as a fairly tolerable visual novel compared to the many other furry VNs out there right now.

This project was initially submitted for the Love + Attraction Jam 2025 held by Cpt. Nikko, but this project is meant to be its own, long written VN typical of most other VN projects. Its initial release has the demo of the VN, but it will continue on long after the jam with new chapters. It is a linear VN to keep with other VN author's recommendation to start a project as small and manageable as I can. Although I had many other VN ideas before (such as one involving kobolds, or another earlier one with a horridly complex dating system), I decided to pivot to this simpler idea I had since I was a young adult, mostly because it has the most foundational strength of all the literary ideas I have for a VN.

THIS VISUAL NOVEL WILL CONTAIN NSFW SCENES OF A HOMOSEXUAL NATURE AS WELL AS MATURE THEMES SUCH AS VIOLENCE, BLOOD, CHILD ABUSE, KIDNAPPING AND SLAVERY.

Any of their attempts with advertisement using this VN is false, deceptive, and unsanctioned by me.
