Sunshowered Orchards Demo Initial Release! :D

So here it is! My very first upload for my very first VN. @w@

This is uploaded for use in the Love + Attraction Jam 2025 by Cpt. Nikko. However, this VN will have repeated updates long after that, as this VN is meant as a longer form VN typical of other furry VNs out there. Despite the main genre of this VN being romance and drama, the prologue, and initial chapter, will have mostly drama, though I'm still hoping it meets the requirements of the jam.

Also, since this is a demo, the prologue and ch1 will be reworked and rereleased as the final, official release of the VN later down the line, modified not only based on feedback, but also my own general improvements to the story.

Technically speaking, the ideal of the VN has been with me for more than a decade, but due to idiotic mistakes which i will not divulge, I am actually forced to write and make it in the short timeperiod of january 2025. As a noob, I technically did not have enough time to fully polish the writing of the entire overarching story from start to finish, in favor of just trying to release the prologue and 1st chapter as best as I noobily can with my nooby skill.

Several assets, mainly the backgrounds, are mostly placeholders as well for custom backgrounds down the line once i nail down what I want for the VN, what the details behind them are, and based on player feedback. That goes for MOST of the sprites as well. THIS VN WILL HAVE SHADED SPRITES IN THE FUTURE, it's just that for now I kept them intentionally unshaded as not to spend too much time on a jam with a deadline, and that all that shading will be discarded if i intend to make overhauls for character sprites in the future anyway. Besides, I am someone who believes that detailing is only at the end of the process, and I'll only do that if people have no issues with the sprites as they are right now.

Overall, I'm someone who is very very very new to writing, and I made this VN as my introductory project for the purpose of learning writing and how to make VNs. 

 I would also like to thank Orkey ( dj Orkey (@djorkey.bsky.social) — Bluesky) for making 2 incredibly beautiful tracks for this VN, them being the tracks "Bleeding Ink on Aged Parchment" and "Lanterns of a Distant Town".
